Participant Grievance Procedures

1.    Try to resolve your grievance directly with the staff member.

2.    If it is not resolved, contact the immediate supervisor of the staff person by telephone or in writing.  Send your written grievance statement to the address shown below, or ask at the receptionist desk to have it put in the mailbox of the appropriate supervisor.

For: Handling Manager:
Counselors/Instructors or Managers: Oscar Almendarez, Counseling Manager  (858 467-6810  ext. 133)
Office Staff: Nancy Massey, Office Manager (858 467-6810 ext. 143)
Accounting Staff: Nancy Massey, Office Manager (858 467-6810 ext. 143)
Managers: Margaret Hutter, Operations Manager (858 467-6810 ext. 114)

 You will You You will receive a response within seven (7) working days, outlining a plan and time frame for resolution.

3.    If your grievance is still not resolved to your satisfaction, you may submit an appeal in writing to:

You will receive a written response within ten (10) working days.

To help resolve your grievance at any step in the process, you may be asked to provide additional information or to attend a meeting of the parties involved.
