	As with all other winners, Jeanne was nominated by her peers and elected by the management staff as the Program's Employee of the Month for March 2004. Jeanne was recognized for her willingness to all ways be there when someone is needed, either as a counselor or part of the clinical team. Jeanne is a graduate of San Diego State University and holds a Masters in Social Work. Jeanne has been part of our Program since 2000. *Congratulations Jeanne*

	Patricia was nominated by a fellow employee and elected by the Program's management as Employee of the Month for August 2003. Seen here taping the festivities at our Annual Management Recognition Ceremonies held in December, Patricia was recognized as a valued employee for being one of our Spanish speaking staff members and the fact that she's always there when you need someone to step in and help. 	Janet K. was nominated by her fellow employees and elected by the Program's management as Employee of the Month for August 2002. Janet's outstanding performance and willingness to "jump" in and do whatever is needed to help out the Administrative Staff in processing new participants has earned her this award. "Everything we do as Admin. personnel, has to go thru Janet's Data Entry area, and she handles it like a pro", was one of the many accolades listed in Janet's nomination. Congratulations Janet

August 2002	Management Special Recognition
	Each quarter, Management singles out one or more employees for it's Special Recognition Award for his or her contribution to the Program. Unlike the Employee of the Month Award candidates, who are chosen by the DUIP Staff, the Management Award is Management's opportunity to voice their selection and appreciation. One of the two employees recognized this quarter was Verlene H. from our Client Accounting Department. Verlene was given this quarter's award for stepping "up to the plate" when the lead of the department left the program. Verlene was presented her well deserved award by the Program Director, Georgi DiStefano at the program's Annual Summer Employee Appreciation Picnic held each year at Mission Bay Park. *Congratulations Verlene*

January 2002
	Nominated by her fellow counselors and elected by management as January's Employee of the Month, Tonya has continued to demonstrate her exceptional counseling skills and has an eye for detail when in comes to client files. She has always gone beyond the bounds when it comes to caring for her clients and fellow counselors. Ironically, the award was presented to Tonya on her last day with the program. Tonya recently graduated form SDSU with a BA in Social Work and is currently in the MSW 4 year part of the program. Tonya has accepted a position with Children's Services HHSA and place in El Cajon. We at the Program wish Tonya all the best and thank her for her contribution to this program. Congratulations and good luck Tonya

Each quarter, Management singles out one employee for it's Special Recognition Award for his or her contribution to the Program. Unlike the Employee of the Month Award candidates, who are chosen by the DUIP Staff, the Management Award is Management's opportunity to voice their selection.

This quarter, Management has selected Ann D. for her upkeep of the Program's File Room and its overall organization. Since Ann took over the file room responsibilities, the up keep and appearance of the file room is always in great condition. Ann is always willing to help where ever she can, and is a great asset to the Administrative Staff and the entire program.

April 2001
	Angie is one of our mainstay Administrative Support staff. She has been with us since our days at Convoy Court, and is really an integral part of our working system. She does so many things for us, and all so well. She is known to staff and participants as a person who provides help. Among her many tasks, she serves as our primary person for arranging and tracking Leaves of Absence (LOA). Most of all, she helps create a positive work environment for all of us with her helpfulness and sense of humor! Congratulation Angie

	The management's quarterly Special Recognition Award for December goes to one of our newest full-time Counselor/Instructors. Larry is a great team player and is available to help others whenever needed. In addition, he has been primarily responsible for the smooth implementation of the newly redesigned and restructured "re-entry" portion of the 18 month program. We are all grateful to Larry for helping us improve our program services. Congratulation Larry.

	Maria is our P.M. Shift Office Lead. She is known for her helpfulness to both participants and staff, and for her outstanding leadership abilities. In addition to handling multiple responsibilities and troubleshooting during the busy evening time, she oversees the entire orientation/reinstatement process for our Spanish speaking participants. Maria's knowledge and professionalism make us look good. Congratulations Maria.

	Vellena is our very excellent day shift Office Lead. Not only is she on top of everything in the Front Office, she is noted for her helpfulness toward both participants and co-workers.
